Eveana Henry (born June 19, 1985 in Kingston, Jamaica) was popularly known in her community as buju but soon become “Pamputtae”, Eveana in her early years attended the Calabar All Age School and realized that she wanted to become a Dancehall artist while in School.

Eveana’s first change came in 2006 when she did an Intro on the “Goodas Fi Dem” song for Tony Matterhorn. Being signed to the Good Yute Productions Label in that same year she had her first hit Single “It Good” on the Trash Out Riddim which was popular on many radio stations in Jamaica and all around the world and gave a meaning to her name “Pamputtae”.  Throughout her career she has performed both locally and Overseas on stage shows and the first of which was Fully Loaded 2008 and Sting shortly after and had a tour of Trinidad which gave her some exposure as to how much she is recognized in the Caribbean. The year 2008 also saw her receiving Stone Love’s Award for Best Female Artist.

Pamputtae has been spreading her music in Third World Countries and have released several singles such as “Ride It” on the Wibble Wabble Riddim under Mr G’s Production Label in 08, another single such as “Stress Free” on the Badass Riddim under Birch Productions Label in 09 was some of her many contributions to the music fraternity. Her collaboration with Spice for the song “Slim vs Fluffy” in 2010 for College Boiz Production showed her versatility and energy and gave her more exposure than what she already had earlier. In 2011, She had Raved reviews on a show she did in Guyana where she had a massive crowd who came out to see her in full colour.

Pamputtae continues to show off her energy, confidence and versatility when in 2009 she debut in the Acting World appearing on The Ity and Fancy Cat Show doing skits as one of the acts in the series and continued appearing in the show as the years progressed.  It was much more exposure for Pamputtae and a great experience and was never a tug and war, she enjoyed doing both. In 2011 also she was called upon by the Iberostar Hotel to be a guest performer alongside Lady Saw for an annual party that they kept for their staff.

In that same space Pamputtae was being discovered by Party promoters to perform at their shows in Canada and the Caribbean and In 2013 Pamputtae became more than a household name when she was called to do appearances on shows in the United Kingdom.

Great things are in store for Pamputtae in the future. With all she has to offer to this industry, her exuberant spirit, her charisma to the Dancehall world and music on a whole, except so much more to come because for Pamputtae, her journey continues…
